What is Hemp Extract?

Hemp Extract "oil" is created with the phytocannabinoids extracted from the hemp plant.

Phytocannabinoids are chemical compounds that interact with the body’s central regulatory system. This system, also known as the endocannabinoid system, manages homeostasis and affects your overall well-being. There are over 100 unique phytocannabinoids found in hemp that your body already has natural receptors for. Research suggests that phytocannabinoids interact with your endocannabinoid receptors to enhance the feeling of wellness and equilibrium.

Please keep in mind that while the FDA grants hemp Generally Considered As Safe (GRAS) status, hemp extracts do not meet Recognized Consensus Status at this time, so these statements have not been evaluated by the FDA. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

How is your Hemp Extract a "premium" product?

Most hemp extract or hemp oil is imported from China or Eastern Europe, but we partner with US farmers to source our hemp. Products from outside of the USA generally lack transparency when it comes to how and where the hemp is farmed and processed. When hemp plants grow, more so than most crops, they absorb everything contained in the soil. That means if the plant is grown in soil containing any harmful chemicals - like pesticides or lead, which are frequently found in unregulated soil - the plant will absorb these toxic chemicals, and they'll show up in the oil extract you're ingesting, too.

In the United States, hemp farmers are required to hold special licenses for growing hemp crops. The seeds they use are inspected, and they must meet strict soil regulations akin to FDA Certified Organic standards, meaning you can count on a cleaner plant that’s free of harmful chemicals or pesticides.

By pairing hemp plants grown in the US with a proprietary engineering process, we’re able to guarantee a consistent, pure, and premium hemp products. What are the ingredients in your hemp products?

Our products are made with natural, honest ingredients. We make our hemp products as simply as possible, with no extras or additives. Our tinctures contain only: Full Spectrum Hemp Extract, and Hemp Seed Oil.

Which concentration level is right for me?

Everyone responds differently to Hemp extract, so there's no one-way approach to dosing. If you've never tried Hemp extract before, we suggest starting with our 500MG Full Spectrum Hemp Oil and gradually increasing the dosage until you find what works for you.

How do I take it?

After filling the dropper with the desired amount of oil, place the serving under your tongue. Hold for 30 seconds. For maximum effectiveness, use your tongue to gently apply the oil to your inner cheeks. Take a few deep breaths and then swallow.

Why can’t I just swallow it?

While swallowing the oil poses no threat and may still be effective, taking the oil sublingually (under your tongue), allows for maximum and rapid absorption into your blood stream. When you swallow it immediately, the medicinal and nutritional properties still reach the blood stream, but it's absorbed much more slowly and some of its effectiveness may be lost through the gastric walls in the stomach.

Will this show up on a drug test?

No matter where you get it, all hemp-derived products contain trace amounts of THC. While it's unlikely that you'd fail a traditional drug test from using our products, the possibility cannot be ruled out.

If you’re subject to a zero-tolerance drug policy at work or elsewhere, please know that some of the more sensitive drug tests can come back positive for THC. If you’re unsure about where your company stands, better ask your HR department before you buy.

What is the shelf life of Hemp Extract?
